Welcome to my baby boy grandson!

Jake Destin Hicks made it here on May 28th, 2010 at 1:44 p.m. and weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz.

He is soooo pretty! Squeezed on him for three days straight...then squeezed on him again yesterday!
He and his momie are doing great!

On the seventh day He rested...

I am following in His footsteps today.  My week has been busy and I woke up this morning very sore.  When I over-do-it, I pay for it in body aches.  But it will be ok...just gotta keep going and not let it get the better of me.  Fibromyalgia is not fun, and since stress makes it worse, all it takes is one good stressful day to ruin me for several days and nights.  Then I am grumpy and sore, and all I wanna do is sleep! lol
But enough of that.  I talked to my daughter yesterday and she is doing great.  She seems to be keeping her vitamins down and is fussing because she found some stretch marks...lol I told her that just comes with the "mom" title...lol She seems happy.  Although she was upset that some of her friends don't want to hang out with her because she can't drink and carry on with them right now...I told her that is how it goes when you grow up and your friends haven't yet.  You move on and make more friends with the same interests as you.  They will eventually grow up and they will come back around.  We finally set a date and location for the baby shower.  We scheduled it on her birthday..lol  Both ultrasounds show a boy, so we are gearing up for boy stuff...she has a boy name ready for his arrival...lol  Destin Jake should show up around May 28th of 2010....can't wait to see him!
We went to the park for a photo shoot for the magazine covers yesterday and I got some GREAT pics of my kids and hubby...can't wait to scrap them. 
Gotta run and get my hot soaking bath overwith so I can move today!

Yeeeeoooowwww! I am way behind on this blog...

I haven't posted since April and I have been so busy it is sad really. I started a new job in June and my hopes of a great summer to get caught up on things went right down the drain. So now I am looking for a new job, with decent pay and something that is using my degree instead of spinning my wheels to get no where...
Please keep me in your prayers for that to happen. The kids are all doing great so far this year. Austin is pregnant and is due in May...our first grandbaby! Can't wait to squeeze him! lol
She is soooo cute pregnant! She looks like she swallowed a basketball! lol Still tiny and thin with a belly! gotta love it!
