Now, to get busy...

I am still eagerly awaitng summer so I can get a few things done, both on here and at home...but I love looking at the blog now that I have re-vamped it...lol
We are all really busy now preparing for the TAKS testing next week...hopefully they will all pass them so they will all be promoted to the next grade...that is a lot of weight on one test...keep them in your prayers.
Yes, Hummie, we all get overwhelmed at some point...and I know that God never gives me more than I can handle, but I am feeling like hercules these days...lol I also know that as he closes one window he opens another, so I am waiting for our next window of opportunity to pop open...lol
Please keep us in all your prayers, I don't want to elaborate but we have a serious need for prayer these days.
Well, I guess I will get busy and get back to work.

I am here….again…

Maybe one day I will be able to get back to this site and update its looks, I am learning to write CSS…it isn’t very easy…plus I have toooooo many irons in the fire this week.  I really would like to call in sick for about a month and stay home and work on my own stuff! lol Yes, I am just a little bit selfish lately.  I think it is because I am so tired.  Well anyhow, I will stop back by tomorrow and say Hi, so leave me some love!

Wow, this blog looks awful!

And it has been so neglected...I am attempting to learn to write CSS better so I will update it when I do...lol I sort of understand it, but with everything else going on, by the time I get back to it I have forgotten what I learned..lol

Family trips are fun...

We just recently took a 2.5 hour trip to see my aunt and uncle and we had a blast. The kids all got sunburned from swimming all day long, but we had a blast. We saw so many of my family members that I hadn't seen in about 18 years! (yeah that is ridiculous) But it seems that my home family has taken over my life and left me no time to enjoy the rest of my family or even my friends it seems. Which really has saddened me, but that is another story for another day. I don't feel like being depressed today. lol
It is about 100 degrees here again today...my yard is beginning to die in little patches all around it. And I have 4 plants that need to be put in the ground but it is just tooooo dang hot to get out there and cook over. Then I will have to water them every day or they will die due to the heat and we are soooo close to a drought here. I keep waiting to hear them say we are in a burn ban, but they haven't officially called for one yet.

New blog look?

I am trying to learn how to make blog templates...I re-did this one since I don't have too much on it...I was afraid to mess up the other one...you know one wrong click and you lose everything...lol
I am trying my hand at webdesign again too...I used to know how to build them but with today's technology changing, it is so much more time consuming than I remember...you have to make sure everything works in every browser and yadda yadda...so I am learning....lol
I also made a new blog to house all my family tree stuff...It is soooo much stuff and I keep trying to put it all somewhere so we can all see it and maybe that way I can get people to contribute and I might actually get somewhere...I guess we will see...lol
Hope you like the looks of this one...I still may expand this middle column a bit...what do you think?

No time like the present...

That's what my mom always says...lol
So here I am blogging....My hubby had his knee surgery yesterday and is doing ok...it is very painful though. But Dr. said he was able to fix it and it should be good after it heals all the way. I am so glad of that...it has been a year, 3months and 3 days since he wrecked and we are still not back to normal at our house. At this point I don't know what normal is...
My job is only lasting through the end of May so I am on a job hunt now...I can't go all summer with no income....praying that I find something I like and that I make good money at.
On another good note...I have lost 15 pounds so far...I started cutting back on sugar and fat on March 27th, 2008...and I haven't had a Dr. Pepper since then...I drank one Sprite and got a kidney infection so I just cut them all permanently from my diet...I feel a little bit better too. Now if I can find some time to walk and get some excercise I am sure I can lose even more.
I have been so busy with the magazine in the evening and school all day that I haven't had much free time lately. Plus when ever I get a free minute I am busy designing stuff to go in the store...my stuff in at myscrapshop.com under the name DigitalGator Designs...I am loving the magazine and the designer jobs though...even if they are time consuming for me.
My house will just have to wait til this weekend, I need to clean and get some stuff done so that when Alex and Ethan go to their dad's for the summer it will stay clean...Only 14 more days until Austin graduates from High School! Wow, that 18 years just seemed to fly by. Alex gets to graduate a year early...he has enough credits to so he is going to finish early and get started on his college...maybe he wil be a millionair some day and I can quit work and sit home and scrap all day...and blog about how rich he is...lol
Well, I better get busy...my break is almost over now...
